Richard Cook is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Kohl's since October 2022, Richard also co-founded R8Spēd, where a sports evaluation and draft web application was developed. Previous roles include Full Stack Engineer at 100 Plaza Clinical Laboratory, where a back-office application was created, and Software Consultant for projects like a custom food ordering system for the Star Trek Experience event. Richard contributed to Hack for LA as a Back End Developer on a volunteer management system and consulted on multiple software development projects at Janeiro Digital, Snob Essentials, Applied Software, Duomosoft, and One Call Care Management. Richard holds a BA in Economics with a Minor in Computer Science from Boston College, obtained between 1991 and 1995.
