Stephen Hepner

Stephen Hepner, CISSP, is a seasoned information security professional with over three decades of experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Architect at Kohl's Department Stores since October 2011, Stephen is responsible for planning and implementing information security strategies, notably contributing to a significant firewall replacement project impacting nearly 1200 stores. Prior roles include Senior Information Security Specialist at FIS, where Stephen managed security operations and architecture, and played a pivotal role in the formation of the Incident Response team. Earlier experience includes ownership and sales management at Babbage Networking Systems, technical support at Manchester College, and data recording as a Computer Technician at EG&G Mound Applied Technologies. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Manchester University.
