Devlon Duthie

Devlon Duthie has extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Devlon is currently working as a Senior Software Development Manager at KOHO. Previously, they held the role of Software Engineering Manager at FreshBooks, where they led two teams in the API group and focused on improving the API ecosystem experience. Prior to that, they served as an Engineering Manager at ecobee, leading a team of developers and coordinating with other product teams to support a GraphQL platform.

Devlon also has experience as an Engineering Manager at Wattpad, where they managed and mentored engineers in designing and implementing scalable solutions for storytelling. Before that, they worked at Mogo as a Development Manager and Senior System Architect, leading teams in designing and implementing technological advancements in the online lending platform.

Devlon has also served as the VP of Engineering at Mobio, responsible for managing the product development team and ensuring continuous improvement of development processes. Devlon has worked as a Senior Software Developer at LX Ventures Inc. and Mobio Technologies, Inc., where they were involved in strategic development, project management, and team leadership.

Devlon's early career includes roles as a Contracting Web Developer and a Wicket/Java front-end Developer at various organizations. Devlon has expertise in a wide range of technologies, including Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Heroku, GWT, Java, Hibernate, and more.

Devlon Duthie attended Technical College from 1998 to 1999, where they obtained a Diploma in Programmer/Analyst. In November 2011, they also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance.
