Jonathan Klein

Jonathan Klein is the current CTO at KOHO. Prior to their current position, they were the Director of Engineering at Attend, Inc from May 2015 to August 2016. There, they led a team of nine engineers in building an event management SaaS platform on top of Ruby on Rails and Angular.js. Jonathan also optimized their cloud infrastructure to reduce AWS spend by 60%. From July 2013 to April 2015, Klein was the Co-Founder of G2G Market, Inc where they built an ecommerce platform using Laravel, a popular PHP web framework. Jonathan also provisioned servers on Amazon EC2 cloud servers using Chef, a configuration management tool. Jonathan helped raise $500K+ in seed money from Boston based angel investors, participating in meetings and diligence conversations. From August 2012 to February 2015, Klein worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Etsy. Their title changed to Sr. Software Engineer from March 2013 - February 2015. There, they worked on the Performance team, making Etsy.com faster and building tools to help the engineering team improve performance and scalability. From August 2016 to January 2021, Klein served as the Director of Engineering at Wayfair. Prior to that role, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Wayfair from September 2008 to August 2012.

Jonathan Klein studied astronomy and physics at Haverford College, and then went on to get certified as an incident responder from PagerDuty.
