Rahul Pugazhendi

Rahul Pugazhendi has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Rahul is currently working at KOHO as a Software Developer II, Backend, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Software Developer I, Backend at KOHO from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining KOHO, Rahul worked at Playo as a Full Stack Engineer from 2018 to 2021. Rahul played an integral role in the core development team and contributed to significant milestones such as achieving user growth from 500k to 2 million+ across Android and iOS platforms. Playo was also awarded Google Play's Best App of 2018 in the Hidden Gem category. Furthermore, Rahul witnessed the break-even and profitable phases of the company, resulting in securing Series A funding.

In 2018, Rahul gained experience as a Software Engineer Trainee at MountBlue Technologies, where they received training in building RESTful API systems in Python/Django and frontend applications in React.js.

Prior to that, they worked briefly as a Python Engineer at Primenumbers Technologies in 2017, where they focused on web scraping for lead generation and building scalable web scrapers using BS4 and Scrapy libraries.

Rahul's earliest work experience was as a part-time sales manager at Decathlon Sports India from 2015 to 2016. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price, as well as engaging with customers to determine their buying preferences.

Rahul Pugazhendi's education history begins with their completion of a 10th-grade degree in ICSE at Ryan International in Bangalore in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they attended Cathedral Pre-University College in Bangalore, where they pursued a pre-university degree with a focus on PCMC. Following this, Rahul attended REVA University in Bangalore from 2015 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) degree. In 2021, they enrolled at Conestoga College and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications.
