Sasha Brukson has a diverse work experience. From 2020, Sasha worked as a Software Developer at KOHO. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2020, Sasha was a Field Service Engineer at CCE Medical Equipment. From 2012 to 2014, Sasha was a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Waterloo, where they were responsible for researching, designing, and planning a system to isolate single cells in micro water-in-oil drops. Sasha also worked as a Summer Student in the Department of Medical Imaging at St. Michael's Hospital in 2012. Before that, from 2011 to 2012, Sasha worked as a Research Assistant at Ryerson University, where they designed an analog trigger circuit for a prototype imaging system and participated in testing the device in a live animal trial.

Sasha Brukson completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from Ryerson University in 2012. In August 2019, Sasha obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In February 2017, Sasha obtained a certification in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the Canadian Red Cross. Additionally, in January 2015, Sasha obtained a certification as a Personal Fitness Trainer from Canadian Fitness Professionals Inc. Lastly, in August 2020, Sasha achieved the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario.
