Trong Nguyen

Trong Nguyen is an AI Developer at Koïos Intelligence since January 2021, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Université de Montréal where work focused on designing and implementing a deep learning model for anomaly detection in surveillance videos, resulting in state-of-the-art detection accuracy and a manuscript submission to IEEE Transactions journals. Prior roles include a Research Assistant at Danang University of Science and Technology, where algorithms for hand gesture recognition were developed, and a Student Intern at Université de Montréal, leading to the development of a gait analysis algorithm and the publication of two conference papers. Trong Nguyen holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université de Montréal and both an MSc and B.Sc. in Computer Science and Information Technology, respectively, from Danang University of Science and Technology.
