AMI (আমি), a Bengali word which translates to “I”, is an ode to the personal connections we make across boundaries and borders. Aside from its home ground at KCC, this year's festival unfolds across some of Kolkata's well-known locations, each with its own story and character – Victoria Memorial Hall, the Indian Museum, GD Birla Sabhaghar, Techno India University, and more! The festival features exhibitions on visual arts, traditional crafts, music, and photography, alongside engaging talks, panel discussions, and workshops. The Kolkata Centre for Creativity (KCC) is a multidisciplinary interactive art centre based in Kolkata. As a not-for-profit initiative by the Emami group it promotes research & experimentation while championing inclusivity & accessibility at the intersection of arts & society.
