Tom Darrah

Tom Darrah is a tenured professor at The Ohio State University, where they also serve as the Director of the Global Water Institute. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at Koloma, having previously held roles as a Research Scientist at Duke University and Research Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Tom earned a PhD in Geochemistry/Medical Geology, along with a Master’s degree and a B.S. in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Rochester. They are the founder of Smart Gas Sciences analytical laboratory and have significant experience in the intersection of water and energy.
