Jayant Pendse

Jayant Pendse is an accomplished business professional with over three decades of experience in a variety of industries. Jayant currently serves as an independent director at Kolte-Patil Developers, one of India's leading real estate firms. Prior to this, they spent four years as the director of administration at Indus International School, Pune, where they were responsible for all aspects of the school's operations, from facilities and procurement to finances and human resources.

Before their work in education, Pendse spent 27 years in the Indian Army, rising from the rank of 2 Lieutenant to Colonel. Jayant served in a variety of roles during their time in the military, including stints in logistics, human resources, and event management. After retiring from the Army in 2007, Pendse went on to work in the private sector, first as a general manager at Atur India Pvt. Ltd., and then as an independent consultant. In 2016, they joined Kolte-Patil Developers as an independent director.

Pendse is a highly respected figure in the Indian business community, and their experience in both the public and private sectors has given him a unique perspective on how to effectively manage large organizations. Jayant Pendse has a Diploma in Senior Level Defence Management from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, a Master of Science in Defence & Strategic Studies from University of Madras, and a Bachelor of Arts from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Jayant also has a Secondary School Leaving Certificate from Maharashtriya Mandal's Seth Dagduram Katariya English Medium High school, and they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, Andrews Ganj, New Delhi for schooling till 10th grade.
