Komsol develops and delivers mineral-based systems for protection, impregnation and water resistance in concrete, masonry and mineral substrates.

Our work is based on a simple principle: the only sustainable concrete is the one that lasts over time. By addressing the mechanisms behind moisture ingress, frost damage and reinforcement corrosion, we design solutions that extend service life without forming surface films or introducing unnecessary chemicals.

Our technologies are primarily based on silicates and silanes/siloxanes, designed to penetrate and protect within the material rather than on the surface.

Sustainability is an integral part of our approach. By extending service life, we reduce the need for resource-intensive repairs and replacements. Our products are developed with focus on low environmental impact and safe use, and are assessed by independent third parties according to established building material evaluation systems.

We support clients across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and South America through local presence and trained partners. Our work includes condition assessments, technical advisory and development of application-specific solutions for new construction, renovation and restoration.
