Emil Malmsten

Emil Malmsten is currently the Global Process Owner for Indirect Purchasing at Konecranes, where they focus on enhancing procurement excellence. They previously served as a Senior Procurement Specialist and Source-to-Pay Lead Buyer at EY, leading operations and driving process improvements. Emil has also held positions at Smith & Nephew, where they implemented compliance and governance improvements, and worked as a Regional Coordinator for the Polish-Finnish Chamber of Commerce. They hold an M.A. in Management from Wroclaw School of Banking and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Laurea University of Applied Sciences. Emil has a background that includes military service as a Second Lieutenant in the Finnish Defence Forces.
