Tony Chen

Tony Chen currently holds the position of Vice President for the Industrial Service & Equipment businesses in Northeast Asia at Konecranes, a role started in August 2023. Previously, Tony Chen served as the Country Director for Konecranes group in China from March 2017 to July 2023, overseeing operations and the integration of DEMAG. Prior experience includes a tenure as Managing Director of BU Components China at SWF Krantechnik from May 2012 to March 2017, along with various roles at Konecranes China from June 2001 to April 2012, including General Manager and Branch Manager. Earlier career highlights feature a position as Sourcing & Quality Representative at MacGregor and supervisory positions at Shanghai Valmont Special Steel Tube Co Ltd and Jiangnan Shipbuilding. Tony Chen earned an MBA in Economy & Management Philosophy from the Fudan - Southwest International University United EMBA Program and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Harbin Engineering University.
