Director, Campaign Strategy at Kong

Alex Pinto has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alex has held various roles in companies such as Kong Inc., Amazon, Rhapsody International, Freelance, Fulbright South Asia, CBS Interactive, SF Offside Festival, Flavor Group Creative Agency, Music National Service, and California Institute of the Arts.

At Kong Inc., Alex currently works as the Director of Campaign Strategy, where they lead the campaigns team and develops full-funnel programs tailored to the needs of buyers. Alex is responsible for integrated campaigns, ABM, campaign strategy and operations, media strategy, audience research and engagement, email, Drift, campaign optimizations, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams.

Alex previously worked at Amazon, where they held multiple positions. As the Global Website Lead for Amazon Business, they focused on website conversion optimization. In their role as Senior Media Marketing Manager at Amazon Advertising, they contributed to the company's advertising efforts. Alex also served as the Head of Social Media for Amazon Advertising, where they launched the LinkedIn channel, managed organic and paid social media content, and sourced and managed agencies.

Before Amazon, Alex worked at Rhapsody International as a Content Strategist and Social Media Manager. Alex also has experience as a Freelance Digital Media, Content, and Communications Strategist, where they worked on various projects such as communications and outreach strategy for Seattle Symphony Education Department and education content development for EMP, Seattle.

In addition, Alex has worked as a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar, developing an online education portal integrating Carnatic music with modern jazz and creative music. Alex also gained experience at CBS Interactive as an Associate Product Marketing Manager, where they generated RFP responses, designed new ad solutions and games, and created sales materials.

Furthermore, Alex has experience as the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the SF Offside Festival, where they served as the creative director and brand manager. Alex also worked at Flavor Group Creative Agency as a Social Media Manager, managing campaigns and social media accounts for various brands.

Earlier in their career, Alex worked as a Teacher and MusicianCorps Fellow at Music National Service, where they developed arts integration curriculum and directed ensemble groups. Alex also served as a Graduate T.A. at the California Institute of the Arts.
