David Carless is an experienced executive with a strong background in leading operations across the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as Vice President for Asia Pacific, India & Japan at Kong Inc. since August 2025, David previously held the role of Vice President - Asia Pacific & Japan and General Manager - APAC Region at LaunchDarkly from August 2023 to August 2025. Prior to that, David worked at HashiCorp from September 2018 to July 2023, where roles included Vice President for the APJ and APAC regions. Earlier experience includes an Account Director position at MongoDB in 2017 and a Specialist role in Cloud and Automation at BMC Software from April 2015 to June 2017.
