David MacDonald

David MacDonald has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of sales engineering. David is currently working at Kong Inc. as a Senior Solutions Engineer since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Google as an Apigee Sales Engineer from November 2016 to July 2021.

Before Google, David worked at Apigee as a Sales Engineering Leader for EMEA, starting in April 2014 and ending in November 2016. Apigee specializes in digital transformation for businesses in response to the rise of mobile computing. At Apigee, David was involved in deploying new computing infrastructure and dealing with distributed and occasionally connected systems.

David also worked at Intel Corporation as a Sales Engineer from March 2013 to April 2014, where they likely dealt with technical sales and support for Intel products. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at IBM as a Sales Engineer, starting in September 2007 and ending in March 2013.
