Ippei Murata is a seasoned professional in cloud-native technology and DevSecOps with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Staff Field Engineer at Kong Inc. since April 2024, Ippei is the first member of the Professional Services division of Kong KK. Prior experience includes a Client Services Consultant role at Broadcom, and significant contributions at VMware from February 2020 to April 2024, where achievements included launching a CCoE for an automotive company and assisting in deploying Tanzu Service Mesh and GemFire for telco and public sector organizations. Before VMware, Ippei spent nearly 14 years at Hitachi, initially as a Computer Programmer and then as a Software Engineer, focusing on project management and DevOps infrastructure services primarily in the financial sector. Ippei holds a Master’s degree in Information, Production and Systems from Waseda University, earned between 2004 and 2006.
