SVP, Business Development at Kong

Ken Kim is the SVP of Business Development at Kong. Ken has over 15 years of experience in business development and sales, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific and Japan markets. Ken has a proven track record of driving growth and exceeding expectations.

Ken started their career at Symantec, where they spent 4 years as the Senior Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and Integration Management. In this role, Ken was responsible for leading the integration team and executing all of Symantec's acquisitions. Ken was successful in delivering value and synergies from these acquisitions, resulting in new solutions and revenue for Symantec.

In 2011, Ken joined Cloud.com (which was acquired by Citrix later that year) as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for APAC and Japan. Ken quickly made an impact at Cloud.com, exceeding plan in Q2 by coming up to speed and driving sales, partnerships, and local and HQ team members. The acquisition by Citrix was a success, and Ken played a key role in making it happen.

Since joining Kong in 2018, Ken has been focused on growing the business and driving results. Ken has been instrumental in Kong's success, and they are poised to continue this trend in the years to come.

Ken Kim majored in mechanical engineering as an undergraduate at Stanford University and then went on to earn their master's degree in manufacturing systems engineering from the same school. Ken Kim is also certified by the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals as a Certified Strategic Alliance Professional (CSAP).

They are on a team with Chirag Shah - CFO, Saju Pillai - SVP, Engineering, and Juliette Rizkallah - Chief Marketing Officer. Ken Kim reports to Augusto Aghi Marietti, CEO & Co-founder.
