Nathan Golan

Regional Vice President, East Sales at Kong

Nathan Golan has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles.

Nathan began their career at NetIQ as a Major Accounts Manager, where they successfully closed deals with major companies such as Cigna, World Bank, Gannett, Marriott, GlaxoSmithKline, Duke Energy, Wachovia Bank, and Mellon Financial.

Following their time at NetIQ, Golan joined Thomson NETg as the Director of Southeastern Sales. Nathan effectively managed a team of Senior Account Executives and significantly increased the district's sales volume.

Golan then moved on to Everdream Corporation, where they served as an Area Vice President. In this role, they managed a team of Senior Account Executives and implemented necessary changes to reorganize the East Sales Team.

After Everdream, Golan joined Antenna Software as the Vice President of Sales. Nathan managed multiple teams focused on new business sales and expanding sales efforts in the CPG/Retail vertical. Golan successfully closed deals with notable customers such as Kraft, Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola Enterprises, J&J, Amtrak, PNC Bank, Dell, and Hallmark Cards.

Following Antenna Software, Golan took on the role of Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Insert, an early-stage Israeli technology company. Nathan led a team of Sales Professionals and brought the world's first Automated In-App Marketing Platform to market.

Golan then joined IBM, where they held various leadership roles. As the Worldwide Mobile Sales Leader for IBM Worklight and MobileFirst Platform, they led a team that transformed the company into the industry's leading Mobile App Platform with over 1,000 customers worldwide. Nathan also managed all sales and business development for Worklight before it was acquired by IBM.

At SeaLights, Golan served as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Nathan successfully led a team of Account Executives and SDRs, closing deals with major companies including PayPal, Fannie Mae, TIAA, UnitedHealth Group, Disney, and Dell. Golan also developed partnerships with global SI's such as Wipro and Cognizant.

Most recently, Golan joined Confluent as the Regional Sales Director for Strategic Accounts. Confluent provides a streaming platform that enables enterprises to maximize the value of data. In this role, they were responsible for leading the sales team and driving business growth in various industries.

Currently, Golan is working at Kong Inc. as the Regional Vice President for Northeast Sales. Kong creates software and managed services that connect APIs and microservices natively across different platforms. Nathan is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of APIs and services for modern architectures and fostering innovation within organizations.

Nathan Golan attended The Johns Hopkins University from 1980 to 1983 and studied Mathematics.
