Paul Kaiser

Paul Kaiser has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Paul is currently working as a Senior Customer Reliability and Support Engineer at Kong Inc. since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Support Engineer at Elastic from June 2018 to December 2022. Paul also served as an Enterprise Support Engineer at GitHub from May 2016 to June 2018. Before GitHub, they worked as a Web Engineer at 10up from February 2014 to May 2016, and as a Senior Technical Lead at Pixo from August 2011 to February 2014. Previously, they worked as a Technical Writer at Incsub from July 2012 to November 2012. Paul has also held positions as a Web Developer at the City of Champaign from November 2004 to July 2011, and at the News Gazette from August 2004 to November 2004. Earlier in their career, they served as a New Media Coordinator at Illini Media Company from July 2002 to August 2004, and as a Lead Programmer at Electronic Courseware Systems from March 2000 to July 2002.

Paul Kaiser attended Eastern Illinois University from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in the Board of Trustees Program. Prior to that, they attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1989 to 1992, and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Paul Kaiser also completed the Learn PHP Course at Codecademy in February 2022, and the Learn Python 3 Course at Codecademy in October 2021.
