Thomas Lawrence

Thomas Lawrence has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and technology. Thomas started their career as a Java Developer at Amadeus in 2006 and later took on various roles within the company, including Project Leader and Unit Manager. In 2010, Thomas joined IBM as an IT Architect, where they specialized in partner enablement on IBM software, cloud architecture, and e-Architect for the Energy & Utilities Industry Framework. Thomas then moved on to Xchanging as an Architect Manager before joining Amadeus IT Group in 2015. During their time at Amadeus, Thomas held positions as Solutions Architect and Enterprise Architect. Thomas played a key role in product ownership, architecture reviews, and leading the Architecture Innovation and Community at Amadeus. In 2020, they joined Gelato as a Lead Architect before moving to their current position at Kong Inc. as a Customer Experience Architect in 2022. Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated a strong knowledge of architecture and technology, and has contributed to innovation and collaboration within various organizations.

Thomas Lawrence obtained their A-Level in Computing from Park College, Eastbourne from 2000 to 2002. Thomas then pursued an MEng in Computing (Software Engineering) at Imperial College London from 2002 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Sun Certified Business Component Developer (SCBCD) and Sun Certified Programmer for Java5 (SCJP) certifications from Sun Microsystems in November 2008. Thomas Lawrence also holds the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in November 2016.
