Kasper Vrolijk

Kasper Vrolijk is the Managing Director and a member of the Executive Board at the Asser Institute, a leading institution in International and European law. Currently, they are responsible for the administrative and financial management of the Institute while leading a team of 28. Vrolijk has previously worked as an Economist at GuarantCo and as a Consultant, where they provided strategic advice to various international organizations. They founded The Missing Middle, an online platform promoting knowledge transfer, and served as a Research Fellow at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability. Vrolijk holds a PhD in Economics from SOAS University of London, alongside a Master’s in Public Policy from Maastricht University, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from NHTV Academy of Facility Management.
