Ryan Eckert

Ryan Eckert is a seasoned Technical Producer currently working at Kooapps since July 2023 and serving as Head of Technical Productions at OffKai Expo since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Officer and Audio Visual Technician at AB Tech from August 2016 to September 2022, and leadership positions such as President of the Carnegie Mellon Entertainment Technology Center and Founder & Chairperson of ScottyCon Anime Convention. Ryan has a strong foundation in technical consulting, research, and programming, exemplified by a project for Carnegie Mellon University’s Modern Languages department, which focused on language education through game design. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Entertainment Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, both from Carnegie Mellon University, supplemented by coursework at Temple University Japan and early education at Lynbrook High School.
