Jacob Vriesema is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with over a decade of experience in the automation and design industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Koops Automation Systems since July 2012, Jacob specializes in creating automated machinery solutions and collaborating with Project Managers to develop and present conceptual designs to clients. Prior experience includes an internship as a Seating Product Engineer at Steelcase Inc., where Jacob handled parts design, testing, and lifecycle management. Jacob also held leadership roles at the Renewable Energy Organization, focusing on the implementation of renewable energy systems. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a mechanical concentration and a minor in physics from Calvin University.
