Kootenay Conservation Program (KCP) in southeastern BC. Founded in 2002, we are a diverse partnership of over 85 organizations including local, provincial and federal government, First Nations, and non-profit societies who work together towards conservation. KCP facilitates a landscape-level perspective by strengthening the coordination and delivery of stewardship and land securement activities and building both the technical and financial capacity of our conservation community.

The KCP service area is in southeastern British Columbia, Canada, in the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Ktunaxa, Secwépemc, Sinixt and Syilx Okanagan who have stewarded this land since time immemorial, and whose values and culture continue to inspire and guide stewardship of this region..
