Richard Grant

Richard Grant is currently the Chief Test Pilot at Kopter Group AG and possesses extensive experience in rotary wing aviation. They have served as a Test Pilot for QinetiQ's Rotary Wing Test Squadron and as a Senior Test Pilot at LEONARDO MW LTD, where they worked on notable projects such as the AW189/149. Previously, Richard was a Principal Rotary Wing Tutor at the Empire Test Pilots School, responsible for training rotary wing test pilots for various military and civilian organizations. They began their career in the Royal Air Force as a Flight Commander and pilot, where they notably operated Chinook helicopters. Richard holds a BEng(Hons) in Civil Engineering from the Royal Military College of Science and has completed a Flight Research and Evaluation course at the Empire Test Pilots School.
