Head of Custody at Korbit

Brian Park has over 15 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Brian is currently the Head of Custody at Korbit, a cryptocurrency exchange company where they have been since January 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Technical Operations at Korbit from September 2017 to January 2020.

Before joining Korbit, Brian co-founded Boxstax, Inc. in 2014 and served as the VP of Engineering. Boxstax is a physical training app and social network for the Crossfit community, which also developed a live dashboard system for sports competitions. During their time at Boxstax, Brian organized the 1st Asia Championships North Sectional and Korea Throwdown events. Brian held this role until May 2017.

Prior to their entrepreneurial venture, Brian worked at Samsung Securities as a Manager and Business Systems Analyst. Brian was responsible for developing and maintaining various financial products' lifecycle systems, including Asset Management, OTC, and derivatives. Additionally, they played a key role in the PL of Next Generation System Project and developed Customized private ELS/DLS sales system. Brian was with Samsung Securities from October 2008 to May 2014.

In 2007, Brian briefly worked as a Senior Associate at Samil PwC. Brian started their career as a Software Engineer at SAMSUNG SDS in August 2002 and worked there until February 2007.

Brian Park attended Yonsei University from 1995 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In 2007, they pursued further studies at KAIST College of Business and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Systems in 2008.
