Founded in 2015, Korea Legacy Committee (KLC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing senior poverty in South Korea.

Rooted in the belief that “We are one community”, KLC works to cultivate a lasting culture of compassion, responsibility, and social engagement among the next generation. What began as a simple act—sharing a warm meal—has grown into a sustained movement of collective care.

KLC is an inclusive community of volunteers, donors, and social changemakers committed to supporting older adults facing economic and social isolation. Through meal programs, volunteer initiatives, and collaborative fundraising efforts, KLC delivers not only food, but dignity, connection, and hope to seniors across Seoul.

By bringing people together around shared responsibility, Korea Legacy Committee continues to build a legacy where care for our elders is a collective value—not a forgotten obligation.
