David Fields

David Fields is an experienced restaurant consultant currently working with AKA Hotels since November 2010, where a 50-seat small plates restaurant concept was developed at AKA Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. Fields has a diverse background in the culinary industry, having owned and operated Salt restaurant from April 2002 to December 2004, which was recognized as one of Food and Wine's 'Ten Best New Restaurants' in the World in 2003. Earlier, Fields contributed as a restaurant critic for Philadelphia Magazine and worked as a photographer for notable clients, including Business Week and Sports Illustrated, where the role involved significant collaboration with prominent athletes and photographers. David Fields holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
