Christopher Brown

Senior Director, Platform Biology at Korro Bio

Christopher Brown has worked in the field of biology for over 19 years. In 2021, they began working at Korro Bio, Inc. as Senior Director of Platform Biology and Director of Oligo Delivery. From 2015 to 2021, they were employed at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, where they held the roles of Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. Christopher'sSenior Scientist role involved mechanistic siRNA research related to the characterization of novel RNAi therapeutics, and they also co-led the RNAi Platform design team. From 2008 to 2015, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Santa Cruz, where their research focused on the molecular basis of transcriptional regulation at an individual gene level. Finally, from 2002 to 2008, they were a Graduate Student at Harvard Medical School, where their dissertation work involved performing genome-wide ChIP on chip assays and fluorescence in situ hybridization.

Christopher Brown attended Brandeis University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a BS in Biology and Biochemistry. Christopher then went on to Harvard University, where they obtained a PhD in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology in 2008.
