Chelsea Olson

Chelsea Olson is an experienced electrical engineer and astronaut hopeful with over a decade in the aviation and space industries. They have held positions at major companies such as Amazon, Boeing, and Korry Electronics, where they contributed to the development of advanced avionics and aircraft electronics. Chelsea earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Electrical Engineering with Honors from the University of Washington, focusing on Embedded Hardware & Software design and Control Systems Design. Currently, they serve as a Senior Avionics Engineer at Korry Electronics and are actively involved in various STEM advocacy initiatives, promoting inclusion in the field. Chelsea is also a passionate pilot, working toward multiple flight certifications while fostering animals in their spare time.
