Ryan Marotz

Ryan Marotz has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Their most recent role is as a Software Development Manager at KorTerra, Inc., which they started in September 2022.

Prior to that, Ryan worked at Digital River from April 2018 to September 2022, where they held the position of Engineering Manager. In this role, they led a team of 8 engineers and was responsible for budgeting and maintaining Continuous Integration tools and processes. Ryan also delivered innovative technologies to enhance developer experience and improve code quality.

From January 2005 to April 2020, Ryan was the Owner & Software Developer at Digility Inc., a company they started in response to a need for charity consignment sales. At Digility, they created and built a web-based sale administration system and implemented various functionalities to automate sale inventory, volunteer positions, and POS checkout.

Prior to Digility Inc., Ryan worked at Architecture Technology Corporation from January 2000 to March 2018. During their tenure, they held multiple roles including Program Manager, Project Manager, and Research Engineer. In these roles, they designed, managed, and awarded R&D projects, managed software development projects, and developed software and network drivers targeting communication protocols.

Ryan's earlier work experience includes a brief role as an Application Engineer at Integration Network Technology in 2000 and an Integration Engineer position at Union Pacific Railroad from February 1999 to February 2000.

Ryan Marotz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. In addition, they obtained the Alpine Level I certification from PSIA-AASI Central Region in March 2023.
