David L.

David L. has been working in IT operations for over 10 years. David began their career in 2008 as a Network Administrator at SITA. In 2009, they moved to Ingram Content Group, where they worked as an IT Supervisor and Network Administrator. In 2010, they joined 407 ETR, where they held various roles, including IT Security Architect & Ops Lead, IT Security and Compliance Manager, IT Systems & Security Lead, Infrastructure Architect, and Network Security Analyst. Currently, they are the Director of IT Operations at Kortext, a position they have held since 2019.

David L. has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Science from Brock University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2009. Prior to this, they obtained a Computer Engineering Technology degree from Niagara College between 2001 and 2004. David also holds several certifications, including a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer from ISACA obtained in December 2020, a Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB North America obtained in June 2016, a Payment Card Industry Professional from the PCI Security Standards Council obtained in September 2013, and a Payment Card Industry Internal Security Assessor from the PCI Security Standards Council, LLC obtained in September 2013.
