Graeme Young has a long and varied work experience. Graeme began their career in 1997 as an IT Support and Software Developer at Discount Car and Truck Rental, where they were also a Store Manager, Customer Service Representative, and Car Attendant. In 2008, they worked as a Respite Worker in Peterborough, ON, mentoring a 13-year-old boy in website development and PHP coding. Graeme also held multiple roles at Trent University, including Student Representative, Technical Support/Exam Invigilator for Disability Services Office, COIS 3950H Course Instructor, and COIS 1010H Teaching Assistant. In 2010, they joined e3 Solutions Inc. as a Junior .NET Developer, and in 2011 they moved to clevr as a Senior C# Developer. In 2020, they became a Technical Lead/Co-Founder at Cirrusly, and in 2021 they started their current role as a Full Stack Developer at Kortext.
Graeme Young obtained a Certificate in Advanced Java Programming from Loyalist College in 2003. Graeme then obtained a Diploma in Computer Programmer/Analyst from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 1999-2002. In 2005-2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science from Trent University. Finally, in 2008-2011, they obtained a Master of Science in Evolutionary Algorithms, Web Caching from Trent University.
