Jackie Yu

Jackie Yu has held various positions in the accounting and finance field since 2011. Jackie began their career at Bloom, Inc., a retail chain for women's fashion apparel and accessories, as a Senior Accountant, where they performed AR/AP, payroll for 200+ employees, human resources, bank reconciliation, sales & expense reports, and merchant sales. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Accounting Manager/Head of Operations at Doppstadt West USA, a recycling equipment distributor for Doppstadt GmBH. During this time, they managed all departments including accounting, sales, service, marketing, and administration, and performed AR/AP, month-end closings, inventory control, bank & credit card reconciliation, daily cash flow reporting, sales & expense reports, prepared financial statements, event budgeting, billing and invoicing, merchant card processing, payroll, human resources, factory compliance management, project management, and enforced internal protocol. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Accounting Manager at Exploding Kittens, Inc. In 2021, Jackie Yu founded Avrio LLC. Currently, they are the Senior Manager of Finance & Accounting at Kosas.

Jackie Yu is currently a candidate for a Master of Business Administration at UCLA Anderson School of Management, having started in 2021. Jackie previously obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles in 2011. In July of 2020, Yu obtained a QuickBooks Certification from Quickbooks Software. Jackie is also in the process of obtaining an Accounting Certificate from University of California, Los Angeles.
