Kosher Australia Pty Ltd is the largest and most trusted kosher certification agency in Australia. Operating since 1968, Kosher Australia now has 10+ auditors servicing over 650 clients in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Japan and Europe, and certifies more than 20,000 products.

The Australian kosher retail market is estimated at $450mln (2015) and includes 1.1 million consumers who are preferentially kosher. The past 10+ years have seen incredible growth in the retail market, with only 50 companies and 400 products certified in 2003 compared to over 600 companies and 20,000 products certified in 2015. Some reasons for this growth are:

1) Manufacturers are looking  to add value to their products in an increasingly competitive marketplace;
2) Consumers with religious and other dietary concerns rely more and more on kosher certification and its association with purity, trustworthiness, cleanliness and health;
3) National and international retailers are looking favorably on certified products to attract and maintain customers.

Kosher consumers numbered more than 65 million worldwide in 2015. Major Kosher exports are to the US, UK, France, Germany, SA, Argentina and of course Israel. The value of the Kosher food market is especially strong in the US, currently estimated at over $12.5 billion, with Kosher being the most sought after description of a new product in the US.

Kosher Australia certifies products manufactured by companies of all sizes, including IFF, Mars Confectionery Australia, PT Mars Symbioscience Indonesia, Murray Goulburn, Carman's, SPC Ardmona, HJ Heinz Australia and New Zealand, Chobani, Lion Nathan Dairy and Drinks, Vitasoy, Carlton United Brewery, Riverina Grove, Kikkoman Singapore, KFSU, Freedom Food Group, Rosella, Peerless, Ozganics, Mondelez and Parmalat.
