Lionel Ramos

Lionel Ramos is a radio reporter at KOSU since January 2024, previously serving as a reporter for Oklahoma Watch from June 2021 to January 2024, focusing on race and equity in Oklahoma as part of the Report for America Corps. Prior experience includes roles as a sales associate at Restoration Hardware Retail Store, where Lionel was the top sales associate in 2020, and as a news reporter for The University Star. Additionally, work as a virtual vote tracker for The Associated Press during the 2020 general election provided valuable insights into election processes. Lionel holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on Creative Writing and Journalism from Texas State University and an Associate of Arts in Communication and Journalism from San Antonio College.
