At Kotijoki, we design shelves that do more than hold things—they hold meaning. Our flagship product, the Fire Escape Shelf, brings a slice of New York nostalgia into homes across the world. Crafted from industrial-grade metal, each piece mimics the city’s iconic fire escape ladders—transforming any wall into a stage for storytelling, creativity, and personal expression.

We serve a passionate community of collectors, decorators, DIY lovers, and pop culture fans. Whether you're displaying your Marvel figurines, Smiski blind boxes, or building a diorama scene straight from Gotham, our shelf is more than furniture—it’s a platform for self-expression.

What makes us different? Emotion-first design. While traditional shelves fade into the background, Kotijoki shelves spark joy, nostalgia, and pride. With over 22,000 units sold on Amazon, a growing community on TikTok and Pinterest, and countless UGC videos, we’re building a brand that people don’t just buy from—they connect with.

Founded in Finland and inspired by NYC, we mix Nordic thoughtfulness with American boldness. Our mission is simple: to help people express who they are through their space. Every product we create is rooted in community feedback, cultural touchpoints, and a desire to make everyday living more expressive.

We’re always looking for creative minds to join us—designers, marketers, content creators, DTC growth hackers, and branding nerds. If you love building brands that blend art, culture, and commerce, we’d love to meet you.

Let’s reimagine how the world displays what they love.
Kotijoki – Creativity on the way.
