Van Nguyen

Van Nguyen has a diverse range of work experience. They started their career as a Student Event Worker at Boise State University in September 2016 and worked there until April 2017. From May to August 2017, they worked as a Summer Crew member, responding to inquiries and facilitating conferences. In July 2017, they became an International Peer Advisor, responsible for data entry and assisting with international orientations. From August 2018 to March 2019, they worked as a Grader for a CSHU130 class.

In May 2019, Van had a summer internship as a Software Developer at SnurbIt Software Company.

They returned to Boise State University in August 2019 and held various roles, including Student Tutor, Electrical Engineer Class Lab Assistant, and Computer Lab Assistant for an Electronic High School Summer Camp, until December 2020. During this time, from August to December 2020, they also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant.

In January 2021, Van joined McVal Group as a Web Developer Intern and worked there until March 2021. After that, they worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Reply Pro from January to May 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Front End Software Engineer at Kount, an Equifax Company, starting in May 2021.

Van Nguyen attended Boise State University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In November 2020, Van acquired the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, and in July 2020, they obtained the HP Summer Scholars certification from HP. Additionally, Van obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) certification from HashiCorp in March 2023, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification from Microsoft in March 2021.
