William Smith

William Smith currently serves as Associate General Counsel at Equifax and General Counsel at Kount, an Equifax Company, since June 2022. Prior to these roles, William held positions as an Attorney at Holland & Hart LLP from May 2021 to June 2022 and at Hawley Troxell from June 2017 to May 2021. William began a legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to Chief Justice Roger S. Burdick at the Idaho Supreme Court from August 2015 to June 2017. Additionally, William worked as a Tennis Instructor at Utah State University in 2006-2007. William earned a Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012 to 2015, and holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Literature and History, along with minors in Spanish and Philosophy from Utah State University, completed in 2009.
