Joydeep Datta

Joydeep Datta is the Senior Director of Product Development at Kovair. Joydeep has over 18 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on software development and project management.

Datta began their career as a software engineer at Array Solutions in January 2000. Joydeep then moved to NIIT Limited in January 2001, where they worked as a software development engineer for one year. In September 2002, they joined Soffront Software Inc. as a project leader. Joydeep was responsible for coordinating the work for the next major release of Trackweb, which provided for high scalability and performance over the existing versions.

In March 2006, Datta left Soffront Software Inc. to join Kovair as the Senior Director of Product Development. In this role, they are responsible for leading a team of developers in creating software products that meet the needs of Kovair’s customers. Joydeep has also been instrumental in developing Kovair’s flagship product, OmniStack.

Joydeep Datta's educational career includes studying computer software engineering at NIIT, earning a bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, and chemistry from Triveni Devi Bhalotia College - Burdwan University, and completing the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary pure science program at Bidhan Chandra Institution - Durgapur. Joydeep also has a certification from the Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Master and a certification from Udemy in Master Jenkins CI for DevOps.

Joydeep Datta reports to Bipin Shah, Chairman & CEO. They are on a team with Akshay Sharma - CTO, Rajib Akhter - Senior Director, Business Development, US.
