Matt Hayner is an experienced portfolio manager currently working at Kovitz since May 2022, following a 20-year tenure at Madison Investment Advisors where responsibilities included both portfolio management and equity analysis. Prior to their roles in investment management, Matt worked as a product development chemist for industrial coatings at Valspar from 1995 to 2002. Matt holds an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business and a BS in Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University.
