Charles Olsen is a Senior Associate Principal at KPF, with extensive experience in architecture gained over several decades. Prior to joining KPF in February 2010, Charles served as an Associate Director at Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands from November 1996 to November 2009, where involvement included a diverse range of projects such as urban and rural master plans, sports and leisure facilities, and commercial developments. Charles has a strong background in project management, design, sustainability, and team leadership, overseeing teams of up to 20 technical staff. Early career roles include Architectural Assistant positions at Hamiltons-London and IKA Project Design & Management, with a focus on presentations, detailed design, and feasibility studies. Charles holds multiple degrees in architecture from prestigious institutions including The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and Oxford Brookes University. Recently relocated to New York City, Charles aims to pursue new challenges and reconnect with architectural influences admired during previous studies and travels in the United States.
