Pavan Kulkarni

Pavan Kulkarni is a highly skilled mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co. Ltd., Pavan focuses on thermal management of eAxle systems. Previously at KPIT, Pavan has held roles as Technical Lead and Senior Engineer, where responsibilities included developing models and methodologies for thermal COP of Battery and Hybrid Electric Vehicles, as well as building 1D models for HVAC components in Simulink. Pavan's experience also includes acting as a Project Engineer at Detroit Engineered Products, where responsibilities involved FE modeling of BIW and powertrain components, and working as a PTV Liaison Engineer at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where Pavan created an FEA performance comparison tool for powertrain adaptation components. Pavan holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from B.V.Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology.
