Craig Pearce

Craig Pearce, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Geospatial Analyst at Kpler, where responsibilities include the development of a new geospatial database, analysis of large data sets for customer issues, and the creation of complex geospatial data visuals and automation processes. Prior to this role, Craig worked as a Geospatial Analyst and Earth Observation Specialist at OceanMind, focusing on combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing through post-doctorate level research and earth observation expertise. While completing a PhD at the UK Centre of Ecology and Hydrology, Craig conducted research on assessing grassland conditions using remote sensing techniques, utilizing software such as R, ArcGIS, and ENVI. Craig also has experience in student support roles and has held positions in the hospitality sector. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Remote Sensing from Lancaster University and a MeSci in Environmental Geoscience from Cardiff University.
