Daniel Chemla

Daniel Chemla is an accomplished Senior Engineer Manager and Lead Architect at Kpler, which specializes in transparency solutions within commodity markets through a unique blend of artificial and human intelligence. Prior to joining Kpler in March 2018, Daniel held several roles at Smart Flows, including Tech Lead Backend and Senior Data Engineer, where significant contributions were made to the development of a SaaS solution for data processing and analysis across multiple industries. Daniel's academic background includes a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, focusing on algorithms for optimizing shared mobility systems, as well as teaching assistant roles at Université Paris 13 Nord. Daniel's early experience includes an internship at MBDA, where programming neural networks for threat assessment was a key responsibility.
