Gen Y.

Gen Y. is an experienced data science professional currently serving as Data Science Manager and previously as Data Scientist at Kpler since October 2016, focusing on building advanced models for maritime energy cargo and trade tracking using diverse data sources. Prior to Kpler, Gen Y. completed a PhD in Information Technology at Université de Technologie de Compiègne, specializing in machine learning and classification during a doctoral research tenure at Laboratoire Heudiasyc from March 2013 to June 2016. Earlier experience includes roles as a data analyst intern at Banques Populaires et Caisses d'Epargne, lead quality manager and project manager at Junior-Entreprise Dièse, and research intern in machine learning at Laboratoire Statistique et Génôme. Educational background also includes an engineer's degree from ENSIIE, emphasizing information technology and decision mathematics.
