Mikhail Bakulin is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the maritime technology sector. Currently serving as Engineering Director for Ship Tracking at Kpler since July 2025, Mikhail previously held the position of Engineering Director, Maritime at Spire from October 2020 to August 2025, where Mikhail also served as Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer in Infrastructure/DevOps. Mikhail's earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at Docler Holding Luxembourg, Senior Golang Developer at admitad GmbH, and Senior Backend Developer at TASS. Mikhail began a career in development at SIIT Informika and the Institute for Spectroscopy Russian Academy of Sciences as a Full-stack developer. Mikhail holds a Master's degree in Physics of Kinetic Phenomena from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
