Sumit Ritolia

Sumit Ritolia is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the oil and refining sector. Currently serving as the Lead Research Analyst for Refining & Modeling at Kpler, a position held from April 2024 to March 2025, Sumit previously contributed as a Senior Oil Refining Analyst. Prior to Kpler, significant roles included Principal Research Analyst in Near-term Oil & Refining Analytics and Principal Research Analyst in Refinery Economics & Oil Market at S&P Global from January 2022 to April 2024. Sumit began the career at Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals LTD in India, progressing from Engineer to Assistant Manager from May 2015 to January 2022, and earlier worked as a Production & Process Engineer at Sterlite Technology Limited. Sumit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, obtained in January 2014.
