Carl Nel

Carl Nel is a Chartered Accountant (SA) with a Master's Degree in South African and International Taxation. They have extensive experience in the financial services sector, serving clients such as banks, hedge funds, private equity firms, and stock brokers. Previously, Carl spent five years in audit before transitioning to a role as an equities product controller at Deutsche Bank for 18 months. They worked at KPMG from 2005 to 2022, progressing from an audit manager to associate director and, ultimately, tax partner, specializing in corporate tax and tax due diligence. Carl is dedicated to addressing clients' commercial challenges while integrating tax considerations into solution strategies.
